Olaussens Metall is involved in many things. One of the most stable and profitable family businesses in the region, the 95-year-old company today includes trading and importing, and has its own machining department.

Their main area of expertise is bronze, and Olaussen boasts the largest bronze warehouse in Norway! But they also supply continuous cast iron and produce various anodes.

And in addition, there are many gadgets that are produced on the premises at Ørpetveit. Everything from Amanda statuettes - which they've been producing since the mid-80s - to personalized corporate gifts and Christmas decorations. No job is too big and no job is too small for Olaussens Metall.

- "We appreciate all types of assignments, and it can be extra fun to make something a little different from time to time," says owner and general manager Kjell Sternhoff.

Whether it's candlesticks, medallions, mini versions of objects or Christmas decorations, the skilled team at Olaussens Metall conjures up what is - in impressively detailed and beautiful execution.

- I have some incredibly good employees. And they all think it's great to create something a little different. We always say yes - and think it's great to receive orders from companies that want to give their employees something personal and unique," says Kjell Sternhoff.

Another advantage of producing smaller items is the recycling benefit. Saving the environment and thinking about sustainability is something Kjell and Olaussens Metall are committed to.

- We have a strong focus on recycling as much as possible. Shavings and other materials can be melted down and given new life as linings and parts, or completely different things - such as candlesticks or Christmas decorations," he nods and continues;

- We have this in mind all the time at Olaussens Metall. We are proud tosay that we recycle as much as 95 percent.

Personal and unique

There are no limits to what you can order from Olaussens Metall.
